The Big Mission Event, sponsored by Servants of the Savior (SOS) of Christ Lutheran Church, was held November 21 at Divots. Gary Thies, Mission Development Counselor for Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod was the Master of Ceremonies. Rev. Dr. Thomas R. Zehnder, Executive Director of World Missions for LC-MS, was the featured speaker for the evening. The Event is held annually to raise money for a variety of mission projects, including Orphan Grain Train and the missionaries sponsored by Christ Lutheran Church.

Lisa Wolken served as auctioneer with Gary Thies, Bill Begeman, and Bob Feddern assisting.
