Christ Lutheran Day School

Caring for children's spiritual and educational needs from preschool through 8th grade, Christ Lutheran School was established at the same time our church was founded in 1871. With a faculty and staff of approximately 30 workers, a Christian, caring learning environment is provided for each student, with a wide variety of class options and activities offered to benefit the students. If you desire more informaiton about Christ Lutheran School, contact Principal Bill Meyer at 371-5536.

Helping Hands Child Care

The members of Christ Lutheran Church operate Helping Hands Child Care as a mission to the community. The center emphasizes both the spiritual and educational growth of each child.

A before and after school program, a non-school day service, as well as a summer time program is run for school-age children.

The center is open to all children of the community and accepts payment from the Department of Social Services.

Sunday School

With an enrollment of approximately 200 students from Nursery to Grade 8, the Sunday School meets every Sunday in the school building from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Ministry activities actually begin at birth with the cradle-roll program and progression through the Parents & 2's class. Ellen Glanzer, Sunday School superintendent, oversees an all-volunteer staff as they instruct our young people and share God's love with each other.

Parents & 2's

This is a special Sunday School class designed for two year-olds and their parents. It is a perfect way to introduce the little ones to the concept of learning with their peers and starts them out at an early age in learning about the love of Jesus. The class meets each Sunday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Preschool Room.
