Pray for Our Missionaries

Tim & Heidi Norton write: We praise God that 8 people were baptized in the month of December. The evangelist Sacko Koulibaly had been going to village “L” since September. In December, seven men wrote letters to him, which he delivered to me, saying that they wanted to be baptized. We decided to hold the baptisms on Christmas Day. Another young man that we’ve known for nearly two years and shared the Gospel with finally decided that what we were saying was true. He also was baptized on December 10. Christmas was a great day of celebration! The new believers were eager to participate in worship and read Scripture, pray, and lead a song of praise. Please PRAY that God would increase the faith of these 8 men baptized in December.

Missionaries Claude & Rhoda Houge request prayers for the students in Mission Training Centers throughout East Africa that they would continue to study God's Word faithfully, so they may reach out with the Gospel to the people in Africa.

Sharon Owens is part of the China ministry team that seeks to establish a Chinese Lutheran congregation in Macau, China. Macau is home to 502,000 people in less than 10 square miles. Buddhism is the major religion. Pray for the Holy Spirit's power to lead souls to Christ.
