About Our Organ

Our organ is a 1972 Snyder-Neuman Organ originally designed by a company in Seward, Nebraska, which is no longer in business. Our organ is one of the largest pipe organs in all of northeast Nebraska.

The organ is of classic design with the Great division and part of the Pedal pipes exposed in the balcony chamber. The Positiv division has all the pipe work exposed in the front of the balcony rail. The Swell division is enclosed in the Swell Chamber, located behind the cloth covered facade. The organ console is a three-manual with pedal using a draw-knob design.

In July 2007 the Snyder-Neuman console was replaced with a new Rodgers Trillium 958 digital-pipe console. This new console fully utilizes all the existing pipework while augmenting the pipes with digital sounds. It has a "floating solo" division that can be linked to any manual or pedal board. Those stops in red have alternative pipe or digital sounds. Those stops that are asterisked are only digital sounds.
