2007-2008 Choir Singing Schedule

I will praise God with a song (Judges 5:3). Whether you’re thinking about singing as part of a choir or just singing a solo, there’s a place for you! The Christ Lutheran choir consists of men and women of all ages who want to praise God through with their voices – Make a joyful sound unto the Lord… and extol Him with music and song (Psalm 95). Our choir is active and performs both classical and modern styles of music. We are always looking for new members; our choir director would like to hear from you!

Here is some general information about our choir:

• Thursday evening rehearsals, from 7:00 - 8:00
• Practice in the Fellowship Hall
• Sing about once each month, usually in the Sunday morning 8:00 a.m. service
• An annual Christmas cantata in our morning services
• Full choir or small groups sing in our special festival services

Going Solo

Singing as part of a choir definitely has its place, but sometimes a good solo vocalist or small vocal ensemble is needed. Most solos are done from the balcony. You may wish to contribute your voice in this way.
