Adult Choir: This group forms the core of the vocal music provided for the traditional worship services. Their leadership in hymns, liturgy and anthems leads us to praise when mere words are not enough. Rehearsals are held weekly on Thursday evenings from 7:30-8:30 p.m. The Adult Choir sings regularly during the year and for many festival services. A wide range of musical talent can be found in the group as well as a broad age range. What a joy to rehearse together and then lead the congregation in worship and praise.
Worship Leaders for the Contemporary Service: Various groups lead worship for the 10:45 worship services. “Joyful Sounds” is a group of women who sing on the first and second Sundays monthly. “Men of Faith” serve as the worship leaders on the third Sunday. A Youth Worship Band comes together for the fourth Sunday of the month, and the “Music Staff”, made up of staff members, leads during any fifth Sundays.
Each group welcomes singers at any time. Several groups rehearse on Thursday evening from 6:00-6:45 p.m. For specific times, refer to the Parish Calendar.
